When we were little, we'd pick daisies to make bouquets and steal plums before they were fully ripe. Later, we learned to pick crunchy green beans and arrange roses and hydrangeas on the table. In this garden, everything grows together, happy and intertwined: tomato plants, cucumbers, basil, a cut watermelon. Pâquerettes, daisies in French, smells of that sunny disarray, from the garden to the tablecloth.
It's the green sap of Millesève. The most cheerful of the four.
