Camille Hauguel calls it an olfactory letter. And that's exactly what it is: a letter to childhood in Normandy, written in perfume by Marie Schnirer.
It begins with light: the freshness of apple, the sweetness of almond, the radiance of jasmine. And then it goes inward: silky musks and an animalic leather, soft as suede. A whisper of dry hay and ripe wheat. The pastures at dusk. Clean laundry warmed by the sun.
