You have to be very sure of what you have in hand to call a cosmetic brand "stable". Nick Jones, the creator of this one, was. She had a beautiful hotel on a farm, in the middle of sixteen hectares of countryside where beauty treatments were performed. According to Nick, there were no products on the market that fit the philosophy of Babington House, which was what this (super-palatable) place was called.
Good old Jones decided to create his own products with herbs from his garden to which he would add essential oils from all over the world. Cowshed was born. The name was inevitable: beauty treatments were carried out in what had been a stable.
Since 1998 Cowshed has grown up without losing the irreverent and pampered air that Nick Jones gave it from the beginning. You have to be English to know how to have a cow for cosmetic inspiration.
