What does Liberty, the London department store that has celebrated its 150th anniversary and is an extravagant and magical place of worship, smell like? It smells of fabrics, legend, freedom, flowers, and woods. To create its olfactory universe, Liberty sent textiles from its archives to some of the world's best perfumers for inspiration. The result is the collection Liberty LBTY. A fragrance that makes us feel as special as being in Liberty.
In Hera Regins, Honorine Blanc (perfumer of Black Opium-Yves Saint Laurent, Flora Gorgeous Gardenia-Gucci) drew inspiration from the fabric of the same name. Her creation is a bright, joyful oud. It's a perfume with authority, but without being overbearing.
Hera Regins has the following grades.
- Top notes: pink pepper
- Heart notes: jasmine, gardenia
- Base notes: Cypriol, frankincense, Oud Natureprint®, woody leather
Honorine Blanc states: "I wanted to create something noble, and so the queen of flowers, Jasmine Sambac, is enveloped with a sophisticated partner: oud wood. Together they combine brilliant naturalness and noble elegance."
You'll love not only the smell, but also the look. The Hera print, an homage to the Greek goddess, is the star of the packaging. We love smelling Liberty as much as being in Liberty.
