Suzanne Tuttle and Alexandra Grima are two Australian women from Byron Bay who have created a skincare brand that captivated us from the moment we saw, touched, and tried it. They recall what motivated them to launch it: "As founders, we felt overwhelmed by the beauty industry and decided to be guided by a clear principle: to create essential products that can be trusted." Reliable cosmetics and essence. That sounds good to us.
Foile believes that skincare should be inclusive, effective, and simple. Their formulas use clean, bioactive ingredients to deliver visible results. The products are free of essential oils, fragrances, and palm oil, making them suitable for sensitive skin. Their goal, which we share, is for cosmetics to provide us with confidence and make us feel comfortable in our own skin.
The packaging, as will happen to you, captivated us. According to its founders, it's the heart of the project. They spent two years researching and developing, together with James Walsh of the industrial design studio Foile, the iconic bottle you see in the photographs. It's designed to fit in the palm of your hand. The organic shape intensifies the tactile sensation and alludes to the natural ingredients present in the products. The glass, which lasts for years, will allow you to reuse and refill it again and again. And you'll want to display them, to enjoy looking at them every day.
