This is the story of a woman who washed her hands a lot. To be more exact, I did it an average of 50-60 times a day. Her name is Antonia Philp and she is an English nurse. From so much washing his hands, hers were cracked, irritated and even bloody. This also happened to his companions: sooner or later, the vast majority ended up with hand problems. So, together with her husband, Jonny, she decided to launch a brand of products for sensitive and irritated hands. It took 7 years to achieve what they wanted. In 2018 was born Nursem.
But Antonia and Jonny had a double plan.
The first was to create hand products that they were tested by health workers and that they provided comfort to all people who worked with their hands and needed to wash them frequently: nurses, midwives, caregivers, gardeners, hairdressers, etc. The first product was Hand Cream, the hand cream. Antonia says: "I needed a super-fast, non-greasy absorption hand cream full of assets that would protect and replenish the natural oils lost by excessive washing, while being highly hydrating." The Hand Cream Nursem is. This product was followed by others that have been tested in difficult conditions and are what this woman wanted when she suffered so much from her hands. Now that we all wash them so much, they are also what we want.
The second consisted of what she calls the Nursem promise. For each product purchased, Nursem gives away the equivalent of a month's worth of products to a toilet. By September 2020, it had already given away products to almost 100,000 toilets in Great Britain.
In Laconicum we will also do it: we will give away a month of Nursem to a toilet for each product purchased. We will start with the Hospital de la Paz (Madrid), Hospital Dos de Maig (Barcelona), Hospital Universitario Marqués de Valdecilla (Santander) and the Las Calesas Health Center (in Usera, Madrid).
Remember this every time you buy a hand cream. Somewhere, thanks to you (and Antonia) someone will have their hands taken care of for a month. We will keep the promise.
Exclusively, in Spain, at Laconicum.
