We have prepared this list that includes all those ingredients that we believe that they shouldn't used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Patience. It's time for patience.
Essential oils:
Essential oils should be avoided during the first trimester, since they can pass into the bloodstream and during breastfeeding.
Essential oils should not be confused with vegetable oils. Vegetable oils such as olive oil rosehip oil sweet almonds, olive oil, oil argan or the Calendula oil is excellent for skin regeneration, providing nutrition and elasticity.
Retinol and its derivatives (such as retinoic acid or retinaldehyde):
Its use is not recommended during pregnancy. It is an excellent ingredient and the most powerful anti-aging active ingredient available, but when absorbed, it can be harmful to the baby. Therefore, it is best to avoid all cosmetics containing it.
AHAs:
They are acids from fruits and vegetables but it is best to avoid them during pregnancy.
CBD:
There isn't enough clinical evidence regarding CBD, but it's best to avoid it along with products with high caffeine concentrations.
