“One day in March 2012 Laconicum was born and that very morning we thought about closing Laconicum. We had few orders, but they overwhelmed us. Luckily, we decided to continue.
This week we celebrate our laconic birthday. Thirteen years have passed and we are still the same cosmetic detectives who searched for charismatic brands all over the world, from Copenhagen to Galicia.
We have a mission: to provide small pleasures to those who are like us, joyful souls who believe that beauty is on the inside and on the outside. We want Laconicum to be a toolbox of well-being and enjoyment.
Thank goodness we didn't close Laconicum that first day.”

See all brandsMaria and Anabel met at high speed, on the Madrid-Seville AVE train. They soon discovered that they had a love for soups, spicy food, massages and The West Wing. They also had the excitement of packing their suitcases and the joy of discovering cosmetics: a Swedish shampoo? an Icelandic cleanser? That trip was the starting point for another one that would be called Laconicum. In it they united their love for travel and cosmetics. They founded Laconicum in 2012 “because Laconicum did not exist”. The journey continues.
