Spicy and oriental perfume

Hasard Bazar is the most gourmand of all the Maison Matiné scents, for a reason, it has vanilla in the background. The name also reminds us of a market in an Eastern country. It was launched in 2019 and its perfumers are Ane Ayo & Fabrice Pellegrin. Ayo is an interesting perfumer: she created A Drop by Issey Miyake, and has also worked for Kenzo, Lacoste, and other brands we know.

  • Top note: Sichuan pepper
  • Heart notes: rose and ambrox.
  • Base notes: patchouli, toka bean, vanilla, musk.

I love the scent, different, light and welcoming. The packaging is amazing. The only drawback is that I notice it lasts less than other perfumes from the brand, such as Lost in Translation, which is also wonderful. But I will definitely buy it again, because I really like its aroma.
