SOBRE
Benamôr

There are good brands, and then there are exciting brands.

Benamôr belongs to this second group, to which all would like to aspire. This Portuguese house has been tied to the culture of a country for almost a century, since 1925. It was born in a pharmacy in Campo Grande, where a pharmacist created his ointments; it was the Art Deco era, hence its design, which still has a taste of the past.

Word soon spread, reaching the country's palaces. Queen Amelia herself, the French princess who eventually became the last queen of Portugal, was among the many who used it.

We don't have many brands that have been suppliers to a Royal House. In fact, Benamôr is the only one. It achieved this honor in 1935, thanks to the fact that the Queen was one of its admirers. Another milestone in the history of Benamôr It was the launch of Alantoíne, its iconic hand cream. It took place in 1970, and since then, thanks to it (and its other creams), thousands of Portuguese have had soft, very soft hands. Because if there's one thing that characterizes these creams, it's that they leave hands feeling unrealistically soft.

Benamôr It's a brand that has been in Portuguese homes for generations. It's an example of vintage cosmetics that fits in with the 21st century; it's also an example of a way of understanding cosmetics from a simple and Coquetry, rather than molecular or extreme innovation. Benamôr has been close to the skin of a country for decades.
