Can a perfume be happy? It can. This one is. When we smelled Arashi No Umi we said, "it smells like the perfumes we used when we were much younger." And that is smelling of joy.
- Top notes: green apple, freesia, peach. Fruits are always sensual and opulent.
- Middle notes: jasmine, damask rose, ylang- ylang. Here comes the spark of the flowers.
- Base notes: Virginia cedar wood, firsantol, musk. Woods and spices are always mysterious and here they appear timidly.
It belongs to the Voyageurs collection of this Parisian fragrance house that prides itself on being made up of many people, many of them women. The perfumer of Arashi No Umi is Bérénice Watteau, a perfumer who, at the age of 7, discovered the profession and decided that she would create perfumes. The design of the packaging is by Nakamura Kyoko, an illustrator from Kyoto who is inspired by Japan in the 80s. This is a nice perfume inside and out.
