This shoe designer from Elche did not want to create a cosmetic brand: she wanted a solution to something that she was faced with in her many inspiration and development journeys. She suffered, what she calls "cosmetic dramas." Products were spilling, breaking, too small or too big ...
I wanted something that was simple and understood the first time. I wanted it to be easy to move, not to spill (that "drama") and with the right products; also that it was made with natural ingredients and in the most sustainable way possible, with recyclable packaging, which was for all skin types and to be used at any time of the day. And I wanted it to be pretty. After many tests, it was achieving all these requirements. He named his brand Nusa, which means "island" in Indonesia. The simplicity of the Bali culture hangs over the brand.
Nusa is a Spanish brand that came onto the market in May 2020, at the most tremendous moment in recent history. That such a project is born in the midst of confusion is a reason for hope. When you buy any of their products, you are buying something else: you support a personal project that impacts the local economy. A cosmetic, many times, is more than a cosmetic.
