In London it rains about a hundred days a year. Chances are high that our trip will coincide with a downpour. This should not discourage us, on the contrary: the light from the rain is photogenic and suits the city well. In addition, there are a multitude of interior plans that are like a hug. Here are some of them.
Royal Breakfast at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park
This is not a good hotel breakfast, it is a very unique one. At 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. the Royal Guard passes in front of the windows of this hotel. If you book you will be able to see this show so completely British while you have a good English, Japanese or Chinese breakfast, the kind that guarantee you many hours without hunger.
The Wonderful Things of Tim Walker
We go to Victoria & Albert even if the sun shines, although if it rains it is even more comforting. This museum, one of our favorites in the city, is hosting an exhibition dedicated to photographer Tim Walker until February. The montage is as fanciful as its world. This visit is full of "Wonderful Things".

First, second and dessert at Berners Tavern
When it rains, you want to sit in a warm room, ideally with lots of wood, where you can wait for a menu eating bread and butter. This place is like that. Their lunch menu is restorative (ask for cheese for dessert) and allows you to break the day in two. Although you will not want to move from their chairs.
An express facial at Fortnum & Mason
We like bars. And if they are bars in which to give us a facial, more. This Peel & Lift Bar is in Fortnum & Mason, one of those places where nothing bad can happen to you. It is a brand idea Skin Design (Yes, we sell it and you can only find it in Laconicum) and it consists of an express treatment with their fabulous products. In 20 minutes they will do a peeling, a manual lifting and they will take you to seventh heaven. Book in firstname.lastname@example.org.
Close the day at L'oscar
A cocktail in a Baptist church decorated by Jacques García? Yes resounding. And yes above, the letter is divided between the capital sins and the virtues and the atmosphere is theatrical, much better. Also, this quirky bar is in Holborn, which is a very laconic neighborhood that we love. Cheers.
