Born in Yorkshire but resident in Paris, is the founder and sole owner of his brand.This is very difficult to find in a European luxury perfume house.  This independence gives to Heeley enormous freedom to create the perfumes he wants, even to retouch them over time if he feels he wants or needs to do so.
