Six uses of dry shampoo we've tried

You are using the dry shampoo below their possibilities. We tell you  six uses  that we have tested and celebrated and that make it a product worth having close at hand.

How to use dry shampoo?

We tend to think that it only serves to space out washes, but it can do a lot for you if you have bangs, if you want volume, if your hair tends to become somewhat limp, if you like to literally refresh your scalp, if you have oily hair... These are the six uses  of the dry shampoo that we have tried and loved.

#1 Space out washes

This is the most well-known function. A dry shampoo absorbs oil and leaves hair looking and feeling clean and loose. It doesn't replace washing (it doesn't drain), but it does postpone it. It's a great invention for lazy people, travelers and people with little time. We all are at some point.

#2 Control the bangs

A fringe has a life of its own, as anyone who has one knows well.  Dry shampoo helps keep your hair under control and well-groomed. Apply it to the roots and "scrub" it with your fingers to absorb the oil and loosen the fringe, or, as Sam McKnight does, with a brush.

#3 Refresh the scalp

Maria, from the Laconicum team, explains this benefit to us: “Lazy GirlSam McKnight's dry shampoo is very refreshing, literally; when I apply it, I feel a cool sensation on my scalp. Therefore, I don't need to have dirty hair to use it, my straight hair always appreciates it to loosen it up and refresh it, especially when the heat comes."

#4 Add volume

Dry shampoo is a great friend of fine, limp hair. With a touch, a flusflus, the hair gains volume, texture and body. The result is a mane worthy of Capote's swans.

#5 Disguise gray hair

Some days, dry shampoo may be the most important product in your beauty arsenal. He Dark Volume Powder, from Sachajuan not only allows you to space out washes, but due to its dark color, it camouflages gray hair.

#7 Extend the hairstyle

Take note: dry shampoo helps you set and maintain your hair. By absorbing the oil in your hair, it prevents your hairstyle from falling apart. It's your new hairspray.

How to apply dry shampoo?

You can apply it directly to the roots, separating the hair into sections and then massaging it in with your fingers so that it absorbs dirt and lifts the roots. You can also style it with a hairdryer afterwards.
And you can apply it with a brush. Spray dry shampoo onto a close-bristled brush and comb through your hair.
