We are looking for staff for our first physical store
Laconicum isn't just another cosmetics store. Laconicum is… Laconicum. We've been discovering, curating, and telling stories for over 13 years, bringing small cosmetic pleasures to people as curious as we are. And like you.
Now, we're opening our first physical store in Madrid. We're looking for store staff to join the Laconicum team. They will be the face of the brand in the store. We'd like to find someone who can accompany, guide, tell stories, and enjoy recommending an English oil cleanser or a fragrance that smells like a walk on the beach.
We're looking for someone who's thoughtful, attentive to detail (everything matters), and sensitive to a job well done. We value your way of expressing yourself, listening, and connecting with people. The cosmetics we sell aren't for everyone. And you probably aren't for everyone either.
What you will do on a daily basis:
- To be an ambassador for Laconicum and the brands we sell, understanding their history and values.
- Accompany and advise clients with judgment, curiosity, and honesty.
- Keep the store in perfect condition.
- Manage collections and perform some administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with the eCommerce team. We are a single, united and coordinated team.
What we look for in you:
- Previous experience in face-to-face sales of at least 1 year (ideally in cosmetics, fashion or lifestyle).
- Aesthetic taste and visual sensitivity. We care about how you position a product.
- Communication skills.
- Curiosity to learn: it's part of what characterizes us.
- Organization and autonomy.
- Minimum English level: B2. This is important, as the area where the store will be located has a foreign clientele.
- Availability to work rotating shifts (Monday to Saturday).
