Morano X Laconicum
When we learned about Morano's philosophy we said: "Wow, we look alike." This is a project of real objects for the simple lives of nomadic souls.
Morano was founded in 2019 by Pedro Mora Noguera, after several trips in which I was looking for crafts that were far from souvenirs, that spoke of local traditions and handmade items, but with contemporary motifs and uses. This is a project about time, love, hands and respect, all of which are huge words. We believe in huge words and we believe in mixing with other people who rhyme with us.
About the collaboration of Morano x Laconicum, he says:
“The result of this collaboration is a good example of how it came about. In a very natural way we have achieved a very organic object, which besides being useful, speaks of beauty, of subtlety, of design that pleases and beauty that does not oppress. It also speaks of versatility, because although it was conceived as a soap dish, its uses are as many as each person's imagination. It is that multi-purpose balm that you always turn to.”
