Everything that reminds us of hotels, with their staging, interests us. We would like to stay in one called Hotel Saudade. The inspiration behind this candle The Inventory It is that feeling that invades us when we open the window of a hotel facing the sea in winter (this is important) and all the power of nature enters. We know that power: when salt, sun and air fill a room. It also reminds us of that image of a writer who is left in a house in El Hierro to write a book and walks at the end of the day. These words are not ours, they are from the creator of Saudade Hotel.
Hotel Saudade belongs to The Inventory, a Spanish collection of fragrances created by Paula González, the factotum of The Singular Olivia and who knows a lot about candles. Like all of them The Inventory, is handmade with vegetable waxes, natural aromas and essential oils; the latter are responsible for making these candles smell so real; like what they say they smell like. These candles are carefully thought out, from the name to the packaging. It includes a list of drinks to complete the moment, from an Earl Grey to a Gin Fizz. There is a small size can, which is useful for trying it out or for taking it on a trip. It is a candle that awakens the spirit, that stirs it, as the sea would stir it.
